Pavlos Melas
Pavlos is a singer and guitarist from Greece. His work with music has ranged from progressive to traditional tunes. He has performed extensively in the UK and has performed in various media including the BBC, London Greek Radio, Star Tv -Turkey and Hellenic Television. He is also a scholar of Byzantine music.
Dimitris Koufogiorgos
Dimitris is a classically trained guitarist and also a bouzouki player from Greece. He has performed a range of styles from Greek music, to classical and flamenco. As a bouzouki player he has performed and toured around Europe being described as a musician who "...takes music to its edge and plays with great risk, rarely failing to amaze with rhythm and virtuosity", London Paper, December 2007.
Eleni Dimopoulou
Eleni has studied classics and music in Greece and is currently based in London. A beautiful singer, with special colours and passion in her singing. Her repertoire includes popular songs from mainland Greece and the islands.
Pavlos Carvalho
Pavlos is a brilliant cellist and bouzouki player.... He is a gameful and joyful musician, a super positive vibe for moosootoo! He is pictured on the left with his beloved Sarita, who is also a musician and a friend of our group.
Stergios Chatzikiriakidis
Stergios has studied drums and jazz piano in Greece. He has been performing extensively in the UK and in some of Greece's leading venues covering a wide range of styles from traditional Greek music to jazz fusion.
Dimitris Koustas
Dimitris is a classically trained accordionist with a strong background in traditional music. He has worked as a soloist/group member in Greece, England and abroad and has composed for theatre, performance acts, art installations and documentaries.
Asterios Pouftis
Asterios, a brilliant performer and singer is one of the founding members of moosootoo. Presently, he is the co-leader at the cello section of the Athens State Orchestra.
